How epoxy tables are made

Our handcrafted process combines traditional woodworking with modern epoxy resin technology in our Slovenia workshop.

The manufacturing process

Wood selection and preparation.
We source premium European hardwoods that are properly kiln-dried to 8-10% moisture content. Each slab is carefully inspected for character, grain patterns, and structural integrity.

Design and milling.
The wood is precision-milled to create the desired shape, preserving natural edges where requested. We carefully plan the epoxy river or feature placement.

Epoxy pouring.
Professional-grade, UV-stable epoxy resin is mixed with pigments if desired, then poured into the prepared channels or features. The pour is carefully controlled to minimize bubbles and ensure even coverage.

Curing.
The epoxy cures at controlled temperatures for 24-48 hours, ensuring proper bonding with the wood and optimal clarity.

Sanding and finishing.
Multiple stages of sanding from coarse to ultra-fine grits (up to 3000 grit) create a perfectly smooth, glass-like surface. We apply protective finishes that enhance durability and clarity.

Base attachment.
Custom metal or wood bases are fitted and secured, ensuring perfect alignment and stability.

Quality inspection.
Each table undergoes thorough inspection for finish quality, structural integrity, and aesthetic perfection before delivery.

How long does a custom build take?
Most projects are completed within 4-6 weeks depending on wood drying and complexity. The timeline includes wood preparation, epoxy pouring, curing, sanding, finishing, and quality inspection in our Slovenia workshop.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship across Europe with insured partners and offer white-glove installation in select cities. All shipments are fully insured and tracked. Delivery times vary by destination, typically 5-14 business days for European locations outside Slovenia.

What bases do you offer?
Steel trapezoid, U-frame, X-frame, sculpted wood, and custom options on request. Each base style can be customized in finish (black, chrome, natural steel, wood stain) and dimensions to fit your space. We can also design completely custom bases for unique requirements.
How heavy are the tables?
Most dining tables range between 60-120 kg; we include delivery planning and placement. Coffee tables typically weigh 30-50 kg, desks range from 50-90 kg. Weight varies based on size, wood species (walnut is heavier than ash), and epoxy volume. We provide exact weight specifications with each quote.
Can I visit your workshop in Slovenia?
